TRAE WENINGER is the Owner, Lead Service Technician, and Repair Specialist behind Tropical Wave Pool Service. With a strong foundation in mechanical systems, he spent several years as a certified service technician in the automotive industry, including time working with Infiniti.

His attention to detail, diagnostic skills, and commitment to quality carried over seamlessly into the pool industry where he discovered a true passion for helping homeowners maintain clean, safe, and beautiful pools.

Today, he combines technical expertise with reliable, friendly service that keeps clients coming back. As a hands-on owner, he personally oversees every job to ensure it’s done right the first time.

When you hire Tropical Wave, you're not getting a random tech from a big company — you’re working directly with someone who takes pride in his craft and genuinely enjoys serving the Bay Area community.

HAILEY FORD plays a behind-the-scenes but essential role in helping Tropical Wave Pool Service run smoothly. Whether she’s assisting with route planning, Accounting, client communication, or jumping in to support Trae on-site, she ensures everything stays organized and efficient.

Her commitment to customer care and community outreach, including local door-to-door engagement,  reflects our values as a hands-on, responsive small business. Hailey is a U.S. Veteran who has ample previous experience as a pool service tech and a passion for the industry. She brings valuable knowledge to the team, particularly when it comes to maintaining proper chemical balance and ensuring safe, crystal-clear pool conditions. While not full-time on the tools, she’s an important part of the Tropical Wave experience.
